PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT:
John has managed real estate development projects from site acquisition, design formulation, architectural review, site permitting, and overview of construction team; once managing more than 20 such projects at various stages of development
JOINT VENTURE STRUCTURING:
John has structured a number of joint ventures including one that involved assembling project engineers, state-of-the-art European technology, US construction and performance guarantee commitments, site securement, corporate and utility energy purchase commitments, Japanese equity commitments, and a $75 million non-transferable bond allocation from the government.
STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING:
John has been involved with a number of projects that relied upon his skills of strategic business planning, including one that resulted in how to reduce overhead by more than 300%.
FINANCIAL RISK ANALYSIS AND INTERNAL CONTROLS:
John has employed his accounting degree and internal & external audit experience to help a number of businesses identify their financial risk and where better internal controls were needed.
INNOVATIVE MARKET DEVELOPMENT:
While developing and managing a recycled plastics manufacturing facility, he developed the first product lines made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics that were successfully test-marketed in large US retailers in the 1990’s.
CAPITAL ACQUISITION STRATEGIES:
John has assembled tens of millions of dollars for development projects and secured commitments for many more. He has also prepared applications for and secured government grants for various projects.
